Samuel Count

Humanities Fellow

Samuel Count served as an infantryman in the Marine Corps for four years and attended WSP in 2022. After separating from the service, Samuel knew he wanted to return to school to prove he could succeed, so he enrolled in community college. He attended San Diego Miramar College for one semester, then began his education at Columbia University. While at Columbia, he found a sense of community by joining the rowing team. His team, along with overwhelming support from the veteran community on campus, has empowered and given him the confidence to be successful in life and his academic pursuits.

Samuel is studying financial economics and hopes to pursue a career in investment banking.
