Seth Jenkins

Humanities Fellow

Seth Jenkins served in the Air Force for six years in the aerospace ground equipment field and attended WSP at Princeton in 2022. In addition to his military service, Seth worked as an aide to Senator Dick Durbin from 2019 to 2022 in his Chicago office. In this role, he worked primarily with veterans and veterans’ groups throughout Illinois, handling complex casework that often involved liaising with federal agencies, researching policy issues, and attending hearings and briefings. He is particularly adept at navigating the Department of Veterans Affairs and has a deep understanding of the unique challenges that veterans face upon returning to civilian life.

After being chosen as Posse Scholar, he left his position at Senator Durbin’s office and enrolled at Vassar College. Seth is currently a second-year student majoring in international studies, where he intends to further develop his skills in data analysis and product delivery. He is a disabled veteran who understands firsthand the sacrifices made by those who serve our country, and he is deeply committed to serving his community with honor, integrity, and excellence.
