Terren Wise served in the Navy for more than eight years as a nuclear machinist’s mate and attended WSP at the University of Arizona in 2021. During his time in the Navy, Terren was responsible for monitoring and maintaining the chemistry and radiological aspects of submarine nuclear reactors. After completing active duty service, Terren enrolled in Northern Virginia Community College. In 2022, he transferred to Brown University to pursue studies in engineering physics. Terren is passionate about supporting fellow veterans in pursuing higher education and promoting STEM education for first-generation, low-income elementary students. He also aspires to create resources to help submarine veterans translate their service and work experience into civilian careers.
