Roque Mesa

Roque enlisted as a combat medic in the Guam Army National Guard and was commissioned as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army in 2013. He graduated from the University of Guam in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education. He then earned two post-baccalaureate degrees in business administration (2018) and specialized studies in STEM (2023) from Northwestern University. Roque is applying to Juris Doctor and MBA programs and aims to understand the legal landscape of advanced technology, including AI and machine learning. As an advocate of data privacy, he believes users should have absolute control over their data. With legal, ethical, and socially responsible considerations, he would like to help companies strategize, adopt, and implement cutting-edge technology.
