Aurora Daniel

Fellow

Aurora Daniel served as a motor transport operator and paratrooper in the Army for two years. After being medically separated, she attended WSP’s humanities and STEM course at Yale in 2018. She started her undergraduate studies at Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC), where she earned an associate’s degree in liberal arts and discovered her passion for museums through a collaborative internship between BHCC and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Aurora then transferred to Wellesley College and earned a bachelor’s degree in art history in 2023. Aurora enrolled in Simmons University’s dual library science and history graduate program after a couple of internships focused on caring for books and works on paper in museum collections.  She plans to pursue a career that combines her interests in photographic prints, women’s military history, and increasing public access to museum collections. She hopes to work for a nationally-managed museum or cultural heritage site.
