Brittany Andrade

Lead Fellow

Brittany Andrade served as a human resources specialist and paratrooper in the Army for seven years. She attended WSP’s humanities course at Williams College in 2020 and is in her third year as a returning humanities fellow. Britt recently graduated from Vassar College as a Posse Scholar, studying international studies and sociology with a focus on social justice. She will be starting her L1 year at American University Washington School of Law this fall, planning to work in human and civil rights law.

While at Vassar, Britt was president of the Vassar Veterans Association and the Vassar chapter of the Student Veterans of America (SVA) for three years, where she was selected as a finalist for the SVA Student Veteran of the Year for 2024. Britt also served as the admissions and recruitment intern for the Vassar Veterans Initiative, where she was the liaison between student veterans and the admissions team for the last two years. She has been an opinions columnist for her college newspaper, The Miscellany, since 2021. She is a strong advocate for parents in higher education and has a toddler who has been an active member of her college experience.
