Emmanuel Fuentes

Emmanuel Fuentes served as a dental assistant in the Air Force for five years. After basic training at Lackland AFB and job training at Fort Sam Houston, he spent the rest of his enlistment at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. He spent three months in Houston, assisting with Operation Warp Speed, which gave COVID-19 vaccines to more than 6,000 people a day. Since starting his undergraduate degree in January 2022, he has attended two WSP bootcamps, humanities at Williams College in 2022 and STEM at MIT in 2023. 

Emmanuel is a junior at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., majoring in exercise science. After his undergraduate degree, Emmanuel plans on attending medical school with hopes of working in primary care to serve communities that lack physician care. Outside of studying for the MCAT, Emmanuel is the president of The Creightones, Creighton’s male a capella group. He is also heavily involved with the campus’ Schlegel Center for Service and Justice, serving as a team lead for the service trips held during spring and fall breaks.
