Alexander McCaffrey
Alexander McCaffrey dedicated 15 years to military service, serving first as a Utilities Technician in the United States Marine Corps and later as an Airborne Infantryman in the United States Army. As he prepared to transition from active duty, he attended Warrior-Scholar Project’s humanities boot camp at Georgetown University in 2025, helping him chart a new path toward higher education.
Alexander plans to transfer to Mercyhurst University in Fall 2026, where he will study Intelligence Studies with the long-term goal of pursuing National Security Law. His military background sparked a lasting interest in security, leadership, and public service, and he is excited to continue exploring those interests through academics.
Outside of school, Alexander enjoys challenging himself in new ways. He is currently learning to play hockey, loves traveling and experiencing new places, and spends as much time as possible on the slopes snowboarding. He approaches both life and learning with curiosity, resilience, and a desire to keep growing.
