Devansh Mehta

Lead Fellow

Devansh Mehta served six years as a Boatswain’s Mate in the United States Navy before transitioning to Chapman University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science. While attending college, he participated in Warrior-Scholar Project’s academic boot camp at Columbia University in 2024, an experience that strengthened his commitment to public service and lifelong learning.

Now returning for his second year as a Lead Fellow, Devansh is passionate about helping fellow veterans navigate the challenges and opportunities of higher education. He also volunteers as a Policy Analyst and Stakeholder Liaison for Recycle For Veterans, where he supports community-focused initiatives that create meaningful impact for veterans and their families.

This fall, Devansh will begin law school at Fowler School of Law – Chapman University, where he hopes to build a career centered on advocacy, service, and public leadership. Outside of work and academics, he enjoys motorcycle riding, listening to podcasts, spending time with his dog Leo, and connecting with others through thoughtful conversation.
