Joshua Saint-Juste

Joshua Saint-Juste serves in the United States Army National Guard as a Heavy Equipment Engineer, operating heavy machinery to support construction, engineering, and mission-critical projects. His military experience sparked a passion for problem-solving and hands-on work, which continues to shape both his academic and professional goals.

In 2025, Joshua attended Warrior-Scholar Project’s STEM program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an experience that strengthened his commitment to higher education and personal growth. He began his academic journey at Gwinnett Technical College, where he earned a degree in Cybersecurity, often overcoming obstacles with creativity and determination—including completing part of his coursework entirely on his phone. He is now pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Kennesaw State University.

Outside of the classroom, Joshua channels his curiosity into a wide range of interests. He participates in his university’s aerial robotics club, works as a model train technician, and plays bass guitar in his church worship band. Whether he is mountain biking, building electronics projects, or finding new ways to add lights to just about anything, Joshua enjoys learning by creating and bringing ideas to life.
