Alexander Barney is an associate at Blue Owl Capital, an alternative asset management company.

Alex received a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies – Middle East and South Asia from the University of Virginia (UVA). Prior to UVA, Alex served in the Marine Corps, working in the communications field from 2012 to 2019.

Alex attended a Warrior Scholar Project academic boot camp in 2018 at Yale.
