Emmanuel Fuentes served in the Air Force from 2016-2021, which inspired him to pursue a career in healthcare. After his service, he attended Creighton University and graduated in May 2026. He is taking a gap year before applying to medical school. 

Emmanuel attended a Warrior-Scholar Project Humanities bootcamp at Williams College in 2022, a STEM bootcamp at MIT in 2023, and served as a Lead Fellow in 2024.
