WSP Alumni Ambassador benefits:

Becoming a WSP Alumni Ambassador is an opportunity to serve fellow enlisted service members and veterans as they develop themselves further as Warrior-Scholars. Don’t hesitate to fill out our interest form and join fellow alumni in furthering WSP’s mission. As an ambassador, you will receive:

Dedicated staff to answer questions and support presentations with college administrators or fellow veterans.
Training on public speaking, interview skills, storytelling.
Advanced notice of fellowship positions, special seminars.
Letter of reference

What does a WSP Alumni Ambassador do?

Alumni Ambassadors initially serve for a one-year term, which may extend for additional terms.

Ambassadors are expected to:

Directly support outreach efforts by encouraging friends and colleagues to apply for an upcoming academic boot camp.
Advocate at their local college and university to promote WSP academic boot camps to their student veteran population.
Attend local college fairs and conferences on behalf of WSP.
Represent WSP in social media campaigns, info sessions, media interviews, and alumni panels.
Support and mentor future applicants leading up to and through their academic boot camp, where appropriate.
