Alumni Fellows

The foundation of Warrior-Scholar boot camps

More Than A Mentor

A WSP fellow is a Warrior-Scholar Project alum and current college student who returns to support participants in their academic journeys—either through our primary programming, an academic boot camp, or a one-day college success workshop.

During the academic boot camp season, fellows travel across the country to various college campuses and work directly with cohorts throughout the week—leading discussions, supporting campus staff, discussing their transition from military service to college student, and sharing what they know about life as student veterans.

Fellows who have already walked the warrior-scholar path offer something uniquely powerful: relatability. They demonstrate classroom expectations, decipher college culture, and provide participants with a framework for effective study habits, all while building confidence and community.

A Warrior-Scholar Project fellow is more than a mentor—they’re proof of what’s possible beyond the military. Fellows are WSP alumni who have taken the next step in their journey by choosing to give back to the Warrior-Scholar Project community, sharing their experiences as student veterans and guiding others on theirs. Fellows lead with confidence, showing boot camp participants that uncertainty, self-doubt, and imposter syndrome can’t stop success.

Becoming a fellow is a way for our alumni to give back and be part of the Warrior-Scholar Project impact!
