Exciting news for our alumni! Once again, WSP will cover your lodging for the conference. This year, we’ll host you at the Illinois Street Resident Hall dorms on the beautiful University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign campus. WSP and our sponsors also have got you covered with food and event access. Just secure your travel, and we’ll take care of the rest!

We have secured a block of rooms at a discounted rate ten minutes from our conference venues at Town Place Suites for our esteemed colleagues, sponsors, exhibitors, and presenters. Join us for this transformative event. Access to the conference is free, but please note that travel expenses are not included.
Airport Travel
For anyone attending, we highly recommend flying into Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to make your journey convenient. The distance from the airport to UIUC is significant, but we’ve got you covered. Our complimentary shuttle, sponsored by Uber, will be waiting for you on July 26th, ready to take you to the beautiful University of Illinois Urbana, Champaign campus and back on July 28th. Is there a registration fee?
Due to generous sponsorship, there is no conference registration fee for alumni participants.
Will WSP cover my travel costs?
WSP will cover shuttle costs to and from Chicago O’Hare airport. All other travel expenses (e.g., airfare, taxi, train, etc.) are not covered by WSP.
Will WSP cover my lodging?
WSP will cover lodging at the Illinois Street Residence Hall.
What benefits are there by attending the alumni conference?
There are so many benefits of attending WSP’s alumni conference! You will have the opportunity to (re)connect with other WSP alums, to network with industry and academic professionals, and to learn a lot about professional and personal growth.
