MIT was founded in 1861 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Some student veterans are eligible to apply as a first-year student or transfer admission. MIT’s motto is Mens et manus or “Mind and Hand.” The campus spans approximately 168 acres with more than 40 gardens and green spaces and 26 acres of playing fields. MIT is a participating Yellow Ribbon school and WSP has partnered with the college since 2017. In 2019, MIT was the pilot site for WSP’s first standalone STEM academic boot camp.
