Local Alumni Activation
*This event is only open to enlisted service members that have successfully completed a Warrior-Scholar Project boot camp to become an alum*
Alumni Activations are department-led efforts to bring localized groups of WSP alumni together to build community, develop professionally, share resources, and network. The NYC Alumni Activation will be focused on skill-building. Author of At Ease: The Guide to a Smooth & Successful Military Transition, Emily King Grandinetta, will present on foundational knowledge of common cultural challenges while introducing the Military Transition Framework™ and assessment. Her presentation will build on efforts in Career Pathways to provide in-depth career development instruction to Warrior-Scholar Project alumni. Local alumni – whether still in school, transitioning into a first job, building a career, or pivoting from one sector to another – are invited to attend.
