University of Notre Dame: College Readiness Academic Boot Camp

Start the process to join our free college readiness boot camp for enlisted service members and veterans, hosted in partnership with the University of Notre Dame!
This immersive, weeklong program prepares you to read, write, and engage at the college level—equipping you with the foundational academic skills needed to thrive in any major. You’ll learn from outstanding faculty at the University of Notre Dame and be supported by WSP fellows—student veteran alumni who are already crushing it in college and know what it takes to thrive in the classroom.
Throughout the week, you’ll dive into readings and discussions focused on themes of American democracy. You’ll engage in lively debates with your classmates, sharpen your critical thinking skills, and work toward your final project: crafting a college-level paper. You won’t do it alone—writing workshops, tutors, and WSP fellows will support you every step of the way.
In addition, you’ll take part in our College Success Series, where WSP fellows lead candid conversations about the academic and social challenges student veterans often face—and share strategies to overcome them.
Eligibility:
If you are a U.S. enlisted service member or veteran without a bachelor’s degree, you’re eligible to apply. If you have questions about your eligibility, please reach out to our admissions team.
