Jesse Reising

Co-Founder, Warrior-Scholar Project

Originally from Decatur, Ill., Jesse Reising earned a B.A. from Yale University, where he played linebacker and double-majored in economics (distinction) and political science (distinction).

Jesse intended to serve his country as an officer in the Marine Corps upon graduating from Yale, but those plans were derailed by an injury he sustained while making a tackle during the 2010 Harvard-Yale football game. Unable to serve in the Marines, Jesse co-founded Warrior-Scholar Project with two of his Yale classmates, Chris Howell and Nick Rugoff, in order to support those serving in the military in his place.

Jesse has also worked as a contractor overseeing engineering and construction projects in Afghanistan’s Kunar Province, and as a federal prosecutor with the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Justice Department in Chicago. Jesse is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
