What is a Warrior-Scholar Project Mobile Training Team Fellow?

A Warrior-Scholar Project Mobile Training Team (MTT) Fellow is a successful student-veteran and alumnus of WSP who is employed by WSP during the summer to help execute summer academic boot camp programming. Fellows are primarily responsible for teaching study & reading skills, leading discussion groups, teaching and mentoring program participants as well as coordinating program implementation with WSP staff, campus faculty, and campus administrative staff in order to ensure that WSP programs are run according to established standards.

MTT Fellows focus on the three types of curricula that WSP focuses on for its summer academic boot camps:

  • Humanities: These fellows, in teams of 2, are employed for the duration of the summer to help execute the week-long Humanities portion of WSP programming.

  • STEM: In teams of 4, these fellows are employed for the duration of the summer to help execute the week-long STEM portion of WSP programming.

  • Business: These fellows, in teams of 2, are employed for the duration of the summer to help execute the week-long Business portion of WSP programming.

Please note that this position is open to WSP alumni only. This is a full-time seasonal position. The general timeframe that fellows are expected to work is from May 15 to August 15 each year.

If you are interested in being an MTT Fellow, please send an email to Carol Urps, Director of Human Resources and Operations at curps@warrior-scholar.org.
