Oscar is a WSP STEM Fellow who served in the United States Marine Corps as a field radio operator in a fire support team in 2008-2011. He attended WSP’s humanities boot camp at Yale University in 2017. Oscar does volunteer work as a research assistant in the Adamson Lab at Stanford University and the Palo Alto VA Healthcare System to conduct clinical neuroscience research on veterans with traumatic brain injuries. He earned his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the University of California, Riverside in 2020. He is currently a graduate student at the University of Southern California in the Master of Science in Neuroimaging and Informatics program, graduating in 2022. He will continue his education at Stanford University in the Master of Science in Symbolic Systems program.
