Anita O’Daniel

Senior Manager of Admissions and Recruitment

Anita O’Daniel serves as Warrior-Scholar Project’s Senior Manager of Admissions and Recruitment, where she leads efforts to connect enlisted service members and veterans with opportunities to succeed in higher education and beyond.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Anita has built her career around service, education, and advocacy for the military-connected community. Her experience spans nonprofit leadership, education, veterans’ advocacy, and community engagement at both the local and national levels. She is passionate about expanding access to education and creating opportunities for veterans and service members as they navigate life beyond the military.

Anita earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law in 2024 and served as a fellow with the Cornell Veterans Law Practicum in 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s in Deaf Education Studies from The University of Tulsa and is also a graduate of Beneath the Service’s Women Veteran Leadership Program, Cohort 8.

Outside of work, Anita is a spouse, parent, animal lover, and occasional artist. She is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and enjoys opportunities to be creative, spend time with her family, and, inevitably, add another animal to the household.
