Chief Operations Officer
Sabrina Perales serves as Warrior-Scholar Project’s chief operations officer, collaborating with the Executive Team on organizational strategy and overseeing the HR, finance, and operations departments.
Sabrina brings extensive experience in nonprofit operations. In her most recent role as the Director of Operations at the Pat Tillman Foundation, she served on the Executive Team for 8 years and oversaw HR, finance, operations, and event logistics. Prior to her role at the Pat Tillman Foundation, Sabrina worked for Perales Consulting Group, where she developed educational material, researched technical data, and acted as the Office Manager in support of defense contracts/subcontracts for the satellite communications industry.
Sabrina enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 2008 as Security Forces, deployed to Kuwait in 2010, and medically retired in 2012. Following her deployment, Sabrina led the Standardization/Evaluation section, where she evaluated squadron readiness, ranging from day-to-day responsibilities to catastrophic events.
Sabrina earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from American Military University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Sabrina resides in the small town of Benson, Arizona. When she isn’t planning personal travel or making spontaneous trips, she can usually be found exploring the desert or trying to improve her culinary efforts – the more from scratch the better!
